DAVID KNIES. Chairman. Mr. Knies has served in Volunteer Pilot Organizations for most of his flying career, serving in numerous volunteer positions. He has been a Volunteer Pilot since he was 18 years old, has flown over 350 Volunteer Missions. In 2008, he received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award from the Vice-President of the United States. He resides in Huntsville, Alabama with his wife, Ashley.
BRUCE BROMBERG, Vice-Chairman & Treasurer. Mr. Bromberg has served in Volunteer Pilot Organizations for over 15 years, and has been a pilot for over 42 years. He has accumulated over 10,000 hours of flight time, has used his Cessna 310 to fly over 600 Volunteer Missions, and was presented a National Distinguished Volunteer Pilot award. He resides in Jupiter, Florida with his wife, Judy.
RICK ABIN. Director-At-Large.
DEBBIE ANDERSON. Director-At-Large. Ms. Anderson has been involved in the South Florida business and nonprofit community since 1985. She has served on several community boards as well as chaired numerous events in Palm Beach County. She currently volunteers with a number of local charities and was a 2018 Soroptimist Women of Distinction Nominee for her outstanding work to support families and children in the community. She resides in Boca Raton, Florida with her husband, Greg.

MICHAEL COVIELLO. Director-At-Large.
ROBERT MICKIEWICZ. Director-At-Large. A graduate of Jacksonville University (FL), Mr. Mickiewicz is a commercial multi-engine instrument pilot, as well as an FAA certified aircraft dispatcher. With over 15 years of airline operational experience in multiple roles, Mr. Mickiewicz currently resides in Atlanta, GA where he serves as a Flight Superintendent with Delta Air Lines. He first joined Vital Flight as a volunteer for "A Special Day for Special Kids" in 2016.
HENRIQUE RODRIGUEZ. Director-At-Large. Mr. Rodriguez was born in Caracas, Venezuela. He has been a private pilot since he was 17 years old and has accumulated over 1,400 hours of flight time. His flight rating includes single and multi-engine aircraft, plus is instrument proficient. He has been involved in various aspects of the aviation industry from business owner to member of other non-profit organizations. He has been a member of Vital Flight since it began. He resides in Weston, Florida with his wife, Yolanda.
